CAN I COMMISSION an original piece?
Yes! Head to this link to answer a few questions and start a conversation with me regarding the piece you’re looking to commission.
FRAMING
I encourage framing all of your pieces. Not only do they look incredibly beautiful framed, but it helps to protect your piece from wear, dust, and in some cases UV damage. If you would like your piece custom framed before I ship it to you, please leave me a note when purchasing and I will email you to discuss framing and cost options. You can also email me here and request a piece to be custom framed.
HOW IS MY ARTWORK GOING TO BE SHIPPED?
All prices include international shipping. If you are purchasing an oversized piece, I will contact you via email to discuss the best & safest way possible to ship your purchase to you.
All artwork is wrapped in paper and bubble wrap to ensure it incurs no water damage. Artwork on paper is mailed with an additional stiff card backing.
Most artwork will ship via Canada Post or UPS, and most packages arrive within 2-4 days (domestic) from the time of shipping (and includes tracking & insurance).
International shipments will be sent via Canada Post and may incur border fees, duties, and/or handling fees charged by other countries outside of my control.
*For oversized artwork on stretched canvas, you have 2 options for shipment. The first option includes having the piece sent un-stretched and rolled safely in a sturdy tube, and then working with a local framer to restretch the canvas on support bars. The second option is to have the piece shipped fully stretched, which would include using a freight service to expertly handle the artwork and deliver it right to your door. In these instances, I will work with you via email to ensure your piece is shipped in the safest possible way.
CAN I PICK UP MY ARTWORK FROM YOUR STUDIO?
Absolutely! You are welcome & encouraged to pick up your original artwork in person at my studio in Montreal, Quebec. Use the code "PickUpAtStudio" at checkout for a shipping discount and we will work out a time to meet via email. You may contact me to set up a time at tanya@tanyapavan.com.
RETURNS
All sales of original artwork, reproductions, and non-original products are final. Returns or exchanges are not available except in the most extreme situations. Please read about the return policy here for more information on the process.
Please note: We are not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (Canada Post or UPS). Please contact tanya@tanyapavan.com within 24 hours of receipt of damaged work with your invoice # along with details of the damaged piece(s) and pictures if applicable.

WHO ACTUALLY OWNS THE PAINTING?
I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original work. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the Collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original).
The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit.
When you purchase an original piece you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.
Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your artwork. Some collectors choose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print or reproduced in any way. I am totally happy to discuss that option with you if you would like - you can email me here at tanya@tanyapavan.com.
